Been studying one form or another of martial arts most of my life. Most of the training has been informal training from skilled and formally trained fighters. I've personally been in hundreds of real "street" fights due to being incarcerated a few times when I was younger and growing up in a bad neighborhood. I always feel like I learn the most sparring and am looking for a partner near me for some light to moderate sparring in MMA and BJJ and general self defense training. I've been out of practice for about 4 years now. I'd prefer a partner either more skilled than me or significantly larger. Humble me and teach me some stuff.
I bounce between welterweight and middleweight. I'm not consistently either.
My brothers taught me how to fight, they took Taekwondo, but they didn't really teach it, they just taught me how to punch and kick, I've been in some fight but I wish to get stronger and better, to improve.
I am a Combat sport fan
I have done 1 year of Muay Thai
2 years of boxing
I love sparing , looking for someone to get some great rounds with … I don’t want to hurt anyone or get hurt my self , but I do love the cardio and reflexes that come from sparing
Looking to get back into boxing to get into shape and get some healthy competition. Minimal formal training but used to box with friends, willing to spar with any sized opponents. I have ring access at my gym, and with advanced noticed would be more than happy to acquire guest access for a day.
I've been training myself in Muay Thai for over a year, and don't have the time to get moneys worth out of a gym membership. Instead, I spent some big bucks on equipment. I always emphasize technique over power, and looking for a respectful sparring partner to level up my game. I have all the gear, and even down to be the pad guy.
I am a beginner boxer and have been doing powerlifting and bodybuilding for years. I'm looking for someone to spar so I can hone a lot of basic technique in an actual sparring situation. I never take things too far, and I can take a hit.
