I really want to get into boxing—not for clout, not to show off, but because I want to learn how to defend myself and carry myself with more confidence. There’ve been times in my life where I didn’t know how to stand up for myself or didn’t feel safe doing it. I’m not trying to be aggressive—I just want to stop feeling like I have to freeze or fold when things get real. Boxing feels like it could give me the tools I need—physically and mentally.
Watching Hajime no Ippo made me feel that even more. Ippo’s story isn’t just about winning fights—it’s about growing into yourself. He started off quiet, unsure, getting pushed around. But when he stepped into the ring, he found something real: discipline, courage, and self-respect. That inspired me. I saw a version of myself in that journey, and it made me realize I could build that strength too—not just to throw hands, but to move through the world with confidence and dignity.
